Bio: Eriko is a multi-cultural pianist, who grew up equally in Japan and the US, dedicated to serving the community and making a difference with music! Participating in the outreach fellowship program in her undergraduate program has taken her to bring live music to various community settings including nursing homes, Alzheimer facilities, libraries, and schools. She teaches extensively through various community music schools, and is also a music director at Christ Community Church in Stony Brook. Innovative Piano blends her passion in music and therapy perfectly, allowing her to continuously discover the power of music. Her performance genre ranges from classical, musical theater, jazz, to free improvisation, and she holds a bachelor of music degree from the New England Conservatory and a master of music degree from SUNY Stony Brook.
