Bio: I have been teaching piano in my studio in Lakewood, NJ since 1999. I teach students of all ages and levels, and have taught special-needs children prior to working for Innovative Piano. I believe that playing the piano is a beautiful way to express our inner feelings. Music should especially be accessible to populations that have trouble communicating verbally.
I majored in piano accompanying at The Hartt School of Music. I have an A.B. in music from Barnard College, and an M.Ed. from Teachers College, Columbia University. I have given numerous solo recitals in assisted living residences and nursing homes in my area. I also judged students in the “Little Mozarts Festival” in Freehold, NJ.
