Locations I am willing to serve: At my home studio in Maplewood or in-home lessons throughout Essex County, northern Union County, Passaic County (Little Falls, Totawa, Woodland Park, Clifton).

Bio: I have been teaching piano since 2002 when I became certified through the National Guild of Piano Teachers. I am willing to teach students of all ages and levels. I have many years of experience working with children who have special needs, in the music therapy and piano fields.

I received my undergraduate degree from SUNY New Platz, double majoring in Music Therapy and Piano Performance, with a minor in Psychology. I then went on to obtain my Masters in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I currently work full time as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I also work part-time teaching Spin classes, piano lessons and have private music therapy clients.

Not only as a music therapist, but as a musician, I truly believe that music, especially playing the piano, is an outlet; a powerful means of expressing our emotions when we cannot put them into words.
