Carlos was born in Los Angeles, CA, raised in the Midwest and currently is based in New York.
Carlos caters his lessons to the individual needs of his students. Lessons should help you develop skills, but most importantly they should be fun, and not feel like another school assignment. “If you heard it, we’ll play it!”
Carlos has performed at some of the most iconic venues in NYC including: Arlene’s Grocery, Pianos, DROM, Shrine World Music Venue, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, The Bitter End, and The Knitting Factory.
Carlos strives to have a positive impact on others through the power of music. Carlos is currently producing pop records with his writing partner Lescribe, at “3 Red Shoes” label, teaching piano and production, and working as a session musician.

The Young Method is an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) based, individualized approach to learning the piano. Depending on how your student scores, they can proceed to different levels of manuals. These levels are refered to as Paths in this series.
