Born in Jilin, China, pianist Hongling Liang, received her bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance with Hesong Wang at Jinan University. She continued on to obtain her master’s degree at the Longy School of Music of Bard College with Rieko Aizawa and Peter Serkin. She also studied with Van Cliburn winner Kobrin Alexander for her Artist Diploma in Piano Performance.
Ms. Liang has won prizes in numerous competitions including the Yangtze Piano Competition, Hong Kong International Piano Competition, and the Macaw International Piano Competition. Ms. Liang is pursuing her doctoral degree in Collaborative Piano at University of North Texas.
