Tonya is a Board-Certified Music Therapist. She holds a Masters of Arts degree in Music Therapy from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and a Bachelors in Music Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Tonya has over ten years experience teaching piano lessons. She has over fifteen years experience as a music therapist working with individuals and families in diverse populations. Tonya is experienced in providing adaptive lessons to students with special needs.
Her lessons are tailored to the individual needs and gifts of students. Tonya is passionate about teaching piano to beginner and intermediate students of all ages. She provides encouragement and dedication to her students.

The Young Method is an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) based, individualized approach to learning the piano. Depending on how your student scores, they can proceed to different levels of manuals. These levels are refered to as Paths in this series.
