Dr. Joseph Henry is an accomplished pianist, organist and educator. He has earned two doctorate degrees in music performance. These include a DMA in vocal accompanying from the Manhattan School of Music (dissertation: “The Evolution of Musical Form in Verdi’s Arias”) and DMA and MM degrees in organ performance from the University of Minnesota (dissertation: “The Evolution of Musical Form in Verdi’s Arias”) He holds both BM and MM degrees in piano from the Cleveland Institute of Music. He has taught at the University of Minnesota, Grambling State University, Concordia University, Union County College, and Louisiana Tech University. He is a twenty-year veteran of the U.S. Army with three separate military occupational specialties (piano player, chaplain assistant, and combat engineer). He is a returned Peace Corps volunteer (TEFL Romania 1998-2000)
